Ghana’s Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah, has advocated for a cohesive, non-partisan approach to the country’s industrial development, underlining that all governments, regardless of political party, must support industry-driven policies if the nation is to experience long-term progress.
He said this while leading a government team to Nutrifoods Ghana Limited to become acquainted with the company’s new manufacturing facilities and expanded operations.
Along with Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, Minister of Trade, Agribusiness & Industry, and other officials, he commissioned an updated can-making line as part of the trip.
Given that Nutrifoods already operates several production shifts and gets the majority of its ingredients locally, Hon. Debrah lauded the company as a workable model for President Mahama’s ambition of a 24-hour economy.

He went on to say that he was certain that the government’s new incentives, like the Export Drive Bill, will stimulate local production, attract more private investment, and generate jobs.
He praised Nutrifoods’ dedication to innovation, high standards, and backing of national programs that encourage regional industry.
The company’s management also promised to keep supporting Ghana’s industrial strategy, particularly with regard to bolstering supply chains, cutting imports, and establishing the nation as a centre for the West African market.
