MTN Ghana paid a total of GH¢7.3 billion in direct and indirect taxes to the government in the first nine months of 2025.
Additionally, it contributed GH¢1.2 billion in fees and levies to various government agencies during this period.
According to its Third Quarter Financial Report, the telecom giant recorded GH¢5.5 billion in profit, about 45% growth over the same period in 2024.
This growth was mainly driven by an 18.7% year-on-year rise in active digital subscribers to 5.7 million.
Mobile Money revenue also increased by 39.2% year-on-year to GH¢4.3 billion in September 2025, mainly due to a 4.1% increase in active users to 17.7 million.
