A pricing increase for certain services has been announced by the National Identification Authority (NIA).

The Authority clarified that the pricing change is intended to preserve and enhance the calibre of its service delivery in a post on its official Facebook page on Wednesday, January 22.

The NIA claims that services like first-time registration, updating personal information, replacing the Ghana Card, updating nationality, and registering for a non-citizen card are all subject to charge increases.

The Authority stated that the modification will promote the sustainability and effectiveness of its operations and asked the public to pay attention to the changes when they take effect.
