Today 28 April, 2020 marks an unfortunate moment for the people of Dormaa Ahenkro as they observed poor social distancing during their usual weekly market day, Tuesdays.
Nsempafie Media visited all the three sectors of the divisional markets. The Dormaa Central Municipal Assembly, ordered everyone to observe the COVID-19 prevention protocols stated by the president of Ghana. Amongst the protocols the president underlined, the most common practices were the use of face masks and observing social distancing especially in crowding zones.

The scene today observed has totally put most people in fear and panic. Some few interviews conducted revealed that since the Bono Region and other surrounding communities have not recorded any COVID-19 case, it is everyone’s responsibility to observe the prevention protocols.
