The Woman Who Fed Former Prez JJ Rawlings “Gari” Has Said Why He Liked Gari.

The Woman who feed The Late Former President Of Ghana, His Excellency, Flight Lieutenant, Jerry John Rawlings in Tarkoradi, Western Region of Ghana has expressed her condolence to the mourning family of the late JJ Rawlings and the entire people of Ghana.

This well known gari seller by name Daavi has explained her relationship with the late JJ Rawlings started years back when Rawlings was very young and stayed in and around Tarkoradi.

She expressed, JJ Rawlings liked “Yorko Gari” thus; gari mixed with beans. She said though gari and beans was then not too popular food because there were no means to advertise products and services, the late JJ Rawlings managed to locate her joint and patronized it often.

Daavi cleared the air by reporting to us that though it was rumoured all over Ghana that, the late ex-president used to amortize gari and beans from her joint which was not true.

She added, former president JJ Rawlings never did that and she never fed him on any barter condition than buying with cash from her.

In addition, she is grateful to reach the opportunity of explaining this heart bleeding worry she has kept for years now. It has completely taken her aback when she heard the sudden and sad news of the former president JJ Rawlings and wishing him perfect rest in the bosom of Abraham.
