Chethana Raj, 21-year-old Indian television star, died after undergoing “fat-free” removal surgery at a private hospital in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The actress admitted to having the procedure done on Monday, May 16. The actress is thought to have died as a result of a cardiac arrest caused by breathing complications that caused fluid to build up in her lungs.
According to reports, the actor was transferred from the cosmetic hospital to the ICU ward of Kaaade Hospital Manjunath Nagar.
Upon arrival, medics are said to have discovered the actress unresponsive with “no pulse.”
Doctors attempted to resuscitate her for 45 minutes using CPR but were unsuccessful.
Chethana was best known for her appearances in the Indian television series Geetha, Doresaani, and Olavina Nildana.
She has appeared in numerous television shows and films.
