A shocking incident unfolded in the Greater Kumasi area of the Ashanti Region as a 32-year-old woman, Jennifer Appiah, also known as Maa Akua, allegedly stabbed her boyfriend, Joseph Bawa, to death.

The unfortunate incident occurred after a heated disagreement between the couple on Sunday.
According to reports, the suspect repeatedly stabbed Joseph Bawa, leading to his untimely demise.
Upon arrival at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Hospital, also known as “Tech Hospital,” the victim was pronounced dead.
The mother of the deceased, Madam Hawa Alhasan, expressed her grief, unable to provide a clear explanation for the cause of the fatal argument between her son and the suspect.

She revealed that Jennifer Appiah had a history of threatening the deceased with a knife or scissors during previous disputes.
Despite numerous pleas from Madam Hawa Alhasan to end the relationship, her son continued dating the accused until his tragic demise.
Following the incident, the suspect managed to flee the scene, prompting a plea from the grieving family for the police to apprehend her and ensure justice is served.
As investigations commence, the body of the deceased has been transferred to the KNUST Hospital morgue, further highlighting the gravity of this heart-wrenching event.
