As part of the 79th fruitful birthday celebrations by Togbi Goba Tenge Seddo a projects has been launched to help raise fund for the commencement of the Giant Projects.
The projects are the Giant Idea(Affordable Housing), Sovocoops(Fish and Shrimp etc), AstroTurf, Gold Mine, Kete/Kente and Gobtensed Education Foundation(Computer Lab, E.P).
Speaking at the sidelined of the launch a member of Giant Idea Group, Mr Jonathan Kuzah was optimistic that the affordable housing projects will help reduce the housing deficit in the regional capitals and Ghana as a whole.
According to him, the Giant Ideas Limited is set to execute a project to deliver 200,000 quality housing units in Ghana, with the necessary infrastructure and amenities.
He said currently Ghana needs 2.71million new houses to reduce housing deficit, that increase by 10% every year.Giant will compliment government efforts at dealing with the housing shortage in Ghana.
The Giant Idea Limited has partners international for funding and contractor groups in a consortium to fund and deliver the project.
Mr Kuzah hinted that Government Ministries and Agencies as “Clients” all sign contracts with Giant for the projects to be executed in phases.
According to him, the overall cost of the affordable housing projects is US$7,414,275,000 and per is phase is $741,427,500 which is solely finance by private entity.
Meanwhile the group chairman of Giant Idea Limited Togbi Goba Tenge Seddo thank God for how far he has brought him in life and pray for more life.
He emphasis that Africa needs rebirth to enable them to see what they are capable of doing as blacks and stop following the western culture lifestyle.
Togbi Seddo was optimistic that the Keta Port is coming soon because the paper work has been done and the environmental assessment is also commenced left with the $650million to begin with the first phase commencement of the port project.
According to him, the entire Keta Port Project will cost $10billion for the completion of it and is a private funding initiative and powered by government of the day.
He was worried about the negligence of the swifts machine which has been stolen by unknown people which has rendered many people homeless due to the spillage of the Dam.
The communities affected by the sea and Lagoon Anyako, Afiadenigba, Aflao and Atiavi because of the negligence of the Municipality to act on the machine and replacement of it.
