VGMA22: This Is Why “I’LL BE BACK” Is Trending On Social Media

The second night of the Vodafone Ghana music awards came off at the Accra International Conference center even after a heavy downpour in the nation’s capital.

But even before the Saturday Night 26th June 2021 which was the climax of the event, the awards night started Friday night 25th June 2021 since it was a two night event.

The talented musicianmusician ward off competition from renowned musicians like KiDi, Kuami Eugene, Sarkodie, Medikal and Adina.

Kidi is on a a winning streak as he has won the first-ever ‘EP Of The Year’ award at the 22^nd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) held at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on Saturday, June 26th, 2021.

Aside from winning the Artiste of the Year award, she also won the Gospel Song of the Year as well as the Gospel Artiste of the Year.

She becomes the first female gospel musician to win the prestigious award and as she received to award, she gave thanks to God, and all other individuals who have supported her since the start of her career especially her family, her church, and her team.
