Hearts of Oak board member, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has insisted that his outfit is not giving up on defending its league title in the ongoing 2021/2022 campaign.
Following their matchday 24-fixture defeat to their rivals, Asante Kotoko on Sunday, the Phobians sit 6th position on the league log with thirty-six points.
Despite the sixteen point-gap between them and league leaders, Kotoko, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe is still confident that they can defend their Ghana Premier title with ten more games to end the season.
“Not at all the title race is not over, you people do not know Hearts of Oak well, you’ll have a shock of your life how the race will end,” the former Ghana Football Association chairman said as reported by 442gh.com.
Hearts of Oak after the painful defeat that led Samuel Boadu to storm out of presser will be hoping to return to winning ways when they play Skyy FC in the quarterfinal of the MTN FA Cup later today at the Acca Sports Stadium.
