The Leadership of Metro Mass Transit Limited (MMTL) organized a five-day budget workshop for branch managers and Inspectorate, Monitoring and Compliance (IMC) Department staff in Kumasi from Friday, November 21 to Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
The workshop was aimed at assessing branch preparedness, align 2026 branch budgets with the central budget, and review IMC policy implementation.
Addressing the staff, Managing Director Cezario Kale, Esq., announced the reactivation of a reward scheme to motivate staff to achieve and exceed targets. He said under President John Dramani Mahama’s resetting agenda, hard work would be recognized and rewarded.
Kale urged the IMC team to play a proactive role in revenue collection and budget achievement, emphasizing the need for collaboration between branch managers and IMC officers to boost revenue generation.
He briefed staff on plans to expand the company’s fleet, including acquiring Toyota Hiace mini buses, Toyota Coaster buses, and Isuzu Buses. Additionally, Metro Mass is in talks with VDL to procure modern, air-conditioned buses.
The branch managers and IMC staff assured the Leadership of their commitment to achieving the company’s goals.
