Young Ghanaian Deported From Canada For Having Suicidal Thoughts
A young Ghanaian man narrated a sad incident that happened in his life last year, when he was deported from Canada, just right after he arrived at the airport
He discussed how he was able to accumulate up to 60,000 Ghana Cedis before the thought of working and traveling abroad first surfaced in a video posted on the RIDE AND CHAT YouTube channel. He addressed a gathering of individuals who he thought were interested in travel documentation.
He left Ghana after the trip was planned, but when he got to the airport in Canada, things didn’t go as planned, so he phoned the guy who was meant to pick him up. Unexpectedly, the guy didn’t return his calls.
He went on to claim that since it was his first time traveling outside of Ghana, he got lost and had no idea what to do. The security personnel worked with him and questioned him while he seemed lost at the airport. Even after helping him locate the person who was meant to take him up, the security staff discovered that he had not answered the phone.
He had no choice except to be deported, but life hasn’t been simple for him since he arrived in Ghana. He had combined batteries to drink, and only prayers and the prompt intervention of his pastor prevented him from taking his own life.
