B/R: Appeal For Urgent Assistance To Fix Broken Down Fire Engine And Ripped Off Roof Of Japekrom Fire Station
The heavy rainstorm which hit Japekrom on Thursday, May 25, 2023 has ripped off most portions of the roof of the Japekrom Fire Station in the Bono Region which needs urgent attention to be fixed.

The incident has thus rendered the Officers helpless forcing them to use the Appliance Bay as their operational base and left at the mercy of the weather, exposing them, especially the night duty crew to mosquitoes and reptiles.

In a related development, the only fire engine serving Japekrom, Drobo and surrounding communities has broken down and need urgent attention to be brought back to working order. The Service is thus calling on the generosity of the public to assist them fix the torn apart roof and the fire tender of the Station to better serve them.
