Fuel attendant caught red handed stealing from a customer

After reportedly trying to pull a fast one on a fuel customer, a fuelling station attendant has found himself in hot waters.

The attendant appeared to have used unethical methods to deceive a customer by increasing the cost of fuel in a widely shared video.

The attendant at the Shell station under the name “Kofi” is accused of entering into the system a larger fuel purchase of GH¢1,150, even though the customer was only given GH¢886 worth of fuel.

When it became clear that the attendant was breaking the law, he was swiftly disciplined. The attendant did not appear to anticipate the customer would pay close attention.

Upon realising he had been discovered, the attendant knelt down to beg the customer’s pardon.

“Kofi, so you have registered a fuel purchase of GH¢1,150 on the screen whereas you only gave me GH¢886 worth of fuel. So you thought my mind wouldn’t be on what you’re doing, the car has a camera and I was just looking at you quietly,” the angry consumer is heard saying.
