The NDC party in the Kintampo South constituency of Bono East region is currently in a state of mourning following the mysterious death of one of our loyal social media activist and serial caller. The young man in his late twenties by name Muntaka but known by many as Fugu Man is a popular radio caller within the Bono East and Bono Regions.

This young man who is always dressed in NDC colours and decorated his motorbike with NDC colours was part of the team who monitored the limited registration exercise on Tuesday 12th September 2023 at Jema the district capital of Kintampo South district. He returned to Kintampo in the evening after the exercise had closed for the day.

This young man who is not known to have any kind of chronic sickness was sitting on a chair taking a rest before he showers and retire to bed. Sadly, he fell down from the chair and collapsed and was rushed to the Kintampo Municipal Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. All these happened on the same day 12th Sep. 2023.

Since he is a Muslim, he has been buried according to Islamic rites. He is survived by wife and two children. I sincerely would want to appeal to the party at the constituency, regional and national levels as well as the office of His Excellency John Dramami Mahama should consider raising funds to support his wife and the children. He really served the party in his best of capacity.

Rest in peace soldier, you will be forever remembered for your contribution to the NDC party and Ghana.
