Few days after Funny Face admission at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital which was requested by the Offankor Court for the police to send him to seek mental healthcare, his ally Kwaku Manu thought of visiting him at the hospital with his wife and children.
Rumours popped out that Kwaku Manu had announced to visit him with his wife and children to comfort him due to his health conditions.
Funny Face’s wife, Elizabeth Nana Adjoa Ntim who have children (twins) with him and left marriage for sometime now due to some misunderstanding already heard that his so-called ex-husband is facing mental health difficulties but unable to visit him because of the previous dfferences. It is through that, Kwaku Manu thought of visiting Funny Face with the woman and the children to console him since he is in difficult situation.
When they were going to the hospital, while in the car, they were spotted not on masks but were busily conversing.
This movement without masks continued to climax at the hospital where much attention was drawn by critical observers. This posed lots of controversies and the reason might be more or less unknown.
For them to fail wearing masks in this Covid-19 era could be over excitement on the part of all the parties who met because Kwaku Manu would be glad and proud of uniting the family. And to the woman, she might be thinking of how to have her husband back as family. Anyway, Funny Face was already alerted of his condition and he could have lost sense to put on mask at that moment.
Indeed, they might have forgotten to come along with masks but the hospital officers should have alerted them of Covid-19 protocols because what happened was almost intentional breach of Covid-19 directives.
Actually it looks dangerous to visit hospital of this nature in this Covid-19 era without masks and sanitizers.
Meanwhile, they carried children along with them to visit Funny Face without being on mask and sanitizers.
