Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has urged the Glazers to back him in the transfer market following Saturday’s 4-0 defeat to Brentford.

Manchester United have signed Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez this summer but Ten Hag still wants a midfielder and an attacker.

“We need new players and quality players,” United boss Ten Hag said after 4-0 defeat to Brentford. “We’ll do everything to convince them to come.”
Brentford’s victory over Manchester United is their first over the Red Devils since 1938.
