GRNMA calls for the immediate sacking of the Ashanti Regional NSS Boss

The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association pledges to fight for the rights of all Nurses and Midwives in the country and calls for the immediate sacking of the Ashanti Regional NSS Boss.

This incident occurred when a house officer who was supposed to be on duty was nowhere to be found. The nurse, in an attempt to help a sick client, called on the house officer to come and attend to the client’s needs with some prescribed drugs, which got the house officer and her family angry.

The father of the house officer, Alex Owusu Mensah, who is the regional director of the National Service Secretariat of the Ashanti Region, went to the hospital and started verbally abusing the nurse, calling her all sorts of names.
