Ghanaians Blast Abronye DC For Saying This About John Mahama On Radio.

Kwame Baffoe Abronye, the NPP’s Bono regional chairman, has stirred up controversy online with yet another inflammatory remark regarding former president John Mahama.

Speaking on Okay FM this morning, Kwame Baffoe Abronye made it quite plain that John Mahama, the former president, would never prefer Ex-gratia to his own wife, Lordina Mahama. He continued by saying that John Mahama has demonstrated time and time again how much he loves Ex-gratia.

He clarified and disclosed that Former President John Evans Atta Mills established a committee to have a discussion over the amount of pay received by government officials at the conclusion of each four-year term. John Mahama and Atta Mills reportedly agreed that Ghanaian Article 71 holders should actually continue to receive this kind of money as Ex-gratia.

Kwame Baffoe Abronye thinks John Mahama prefers Ex-gratia to his wife, Lordina Mahama, for this reason.

“Ex-gratia has a lot of fans in Ghana. I have even helped John Mahama by raising such issue because he said he may do something about it. If John Mahama is to choose between Ex-gratia and Lordina Mahama, he will go in for Ex-gratia. He loves Ex-gratia more than his wife, Lordina Mahama. He is only talking about Ex-gratia because it has a lot of fans in Ghana.”

“When Atta Mills was alive, he instituted a constitutional review committee. The report from this committee, together with John Mahama’s support accepted that ex-gratia is indeed good for all article 71 holders in Ghana” he added.
