After daughters sobbed in court and the judge started crying, the man who killed his wife was released.
The husband admitted killing Janet Maritim and entered a plea of guilty. Her two children were successful in convincing the judge to grant their father’s freedom after he was charged with killing their mother on the grounds of infidelity.
Maritim’s four younger siblings were her dependents, according to her two adult children, who also claimed that she was the family’s main provider. Maritim begged the court to hear how much he regrets murdering his wife. He became irate after seeing his wife and another guy drinking wine at his home and said he had no idea what had happened to him.
He requests that the court provide him a second opportunity to live and care for their children. He won’t murder if similar conditions develop again; he’ll just go. He admitted to killing his wife and pleaded for pardon and compassion.
She testified in court that she was appalled to see the infidelity of the mother of her six children on their wedding bed. The kids sobbed in court, begging for their father’s pardon.
Even though he pled guilty and now faces life in jail for killing his wife after lying her on their wedding bed with another detained man, the court accepted the 5-year-old girl’s request and pardoned her father.
