Manchester United enters the competition for a Black Stars winger.
Manchester United of the English Premier League is allegedly in the running to recruit Black Stars winger Fatawu Issahaku.
The winger, who presently with Sporting Club Lisbon, is considered one of the game’s brightest prospects.
The wonderkid from Ghana is reportedly compared to the Cristiano Ronaldo the team acquired from Sporting Lisbon in the 2003–2004 season. The club won’t make any decisions, however, until after the world cup.
Football pundits have also showered praises on the player, comparing him to the sort of impact that Bruno Fernandes made in his first season at the Manchester club. In a discussion on radio, GIVEMESPORT pundit Aarons said “I think Manchester United, eventually, in that Bruno Fernandes sort of role just behind the striker, scoring lots of goals. He had an amazing record in the Ghanaian league. He was playing men’s football very young and scored loads of goals in that number 10 position. He is a real name to watch.”
Before the World Cup in Qatar this month, Fatawu Issahaku is anticipated to be included in the final 26-man roster for the Ghana Black Stars.
