The open burning of rubbish and tyres are required in collective efforts to deal with the manners.
Speaking at the news conference held in Accra, the executive director of EPA, Mr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu assures public safety and healthy.
According to him, the EPA is doing its best to ensure that the public and the air is not polluted with airborne diseases.
Even though the toxic waste is on the rise in recent times for which the EPA is doing within it’s mandatory power to avoid the situation before it gets out of hand.
He cautioned the churches, pub, night clubs and restaurant over noise making in the public because in the coming months won’t contain both of them.
The EPA is going to fix a device that they can track menace of nuisance of noise making in the community.
Mr. Kokofu was optimistic that given the MMDCEs to enforce it by-Law’s was in a right direction to arrest and prosecute perpetrators.
The issue of human face is bound to happen but assures public that whoever caught would be dealt with without fear or favour.
He appealed dealers who engaged into counterfeit goods to desist and give them two weeks ultimatum.
Ghanaians have role to play in a fight against noise making.
He urged fake dealers and counterfeit goods to stop such trading in our markets.
The offense of fake dealers and counterfeit goods are not bailable offense.
“Why must one go and trade without license whilst there are Law’s in the country” he warned.
He revealed that some perpetrators have been arrested and facing trials.
