Processes are far advanced to upgrade the Kintampo College of Health to University status, Bono East Regional Minister, Kwasi Adu-Gyan has disclosed.
“Immediately I took the reigns of office, my vision was to make the Kintampo Health College a university. So, I talked to the President and he asked me to liaise with the Education Minister. We have done the necessary documentation and it is left with the Tertiary Education Council to approve it”, the Minister said.
According to the Regional Minister, after cabinet approval, the University will have a satellite campus in Techiman, Nkronza, Sene East and West to serve the people.
The Minster led the Indian High Commissioner to Ghana, His Excellency Sugandh Rajaram to pay a courtesy on management of the school.
